UGLY RUNNERS
Join team Ugly Runners We are an unconventional running team made up of regular people who love to run. Our goal is to bring a community of runners together. So come as you are just as long as you love to run. Along with helping out our favorite charity, you will be able to find out what you are made of. As a ugly Runner, you will be able to post anything related, for example your run time, pace, frustration, achievements and any thoughts or ideas you have on our blog-
Whats on your IPOD?
Looking for some suggestions on fresh new music to motivate during my runs. Help a Ugly Runner out

The below training suggestion is a good foundation to ease into two a day runs as to prevent injury. I will be following this regiment starting this upcoming Monday. I will post my progress and if anyone else out there follows this too please post your feelings!

Specialized Camber Pro Bike
If the spring rains are to be believed, this summer should provide plenty of prime riding days. Get the most out of the great weather aboard the Specialized Camber Pro Bike ($2,900). Deliberately straight-forward, the Camber pro offers an alloy frame with front and rear Fox suspensions, a sealed cartridge bearing pivots for superior handling and a smooth ride, hydraulic disc brakes, a 10-speed crankset, and a specialized (no pun intended) "The Captain" tires.
Quote of the day!!
"I love to interact with people when they're most exposed when every layer of pretension and vanity has been stripped away and left strewn along the pathway. The marathon mercilessly rips off the outer layers of our defenses and leaves the raw human, vulnerable and naked. It is here you get an honest glimpse into the soul of an individual."

"What if you could run for decades and never get injured ... and log hundreds of weekly miles and enjoy every one of them ... and see your heart rate drop and your stress and anger fade while your energy soared? Imagine crime, cholesterol, and greed melting away as a nation of running people finally rediscovered its stride."
